The Farm-to-Table Program cultivates students who are good stewards of the earth and productive community members through classroom study of horticulture, planting and maintenance of school gardens, and hands-on experiences at local family farms.

Teacher Mini-Grants

Teacher Mini-Grants totaling over $80,000 have been awarded to over two hundred Rappahannock County Public School teachers for innovate classroom projects—everything from chemistry lab equipment upgrades to Spanish language CDs, from materials on Shakespeare to GPS equipment.

Scholarships and Awards

Headwaters administers several endowed scholarship and award funds. The Headwaters Next Step Program also helps to oversee a number of other local scholarship programs, such as the Next Step Dream Award and the Elizabeth Biggs Memorial Scholarship, which are not endowed.
